Last I spoke about how I was learning how to use crystals for healing, and wanted to share some products that I have been using for my education. I will provide affiliate links for these products in case you would like to try them. Just to disclose, these links provide we with a small amount of money through the Amazon affiliate program. Just click on the pictures, and they’ll lead you right to the purchase page.
The first thing I would like to discuss is Crystals for Beginners by Karen Frazier. This was the first book that I grabbed when first starting out on my crystal adventure. One of the things that I love about this book is the prescriptions at the end of the book. If you are looking to use crystals for a specific purpose, it tells you exactly what to do. This includes which crystal to use. how to handle the crystal (jewelry, grid, etc.), and provides mantras to help focus the crystal to what you need.
The book also gives explanations for how crystals provide their healing energies, what the different types of crystals there are in the world (including pictures), and an explanation of their individual uses. I really recommend this book if you are a beginner wanting to get a good general education about crystals.
Change Your Energy: Healing Crystals for Health, Wealth, Love & Luck by Krista N. Mitchell is a great companion to the previous book. This book also gives a good overall education about crystals, especially in regards to clearing and charging your crystals. What I found most useful, was the discussion about using crystals for specific reasons. I found this book after about a month with the other and was glad that I did. It really furthered my knowledge about healing crystals.
When I first started learning about crystals, I needed to know where I could find crystals. After doing some research, I found this kit through Amazon and thought I’d try it out. This box comes with both chakra stones and rough crystals. There is a guide card that tells you what each crystal is for and a picture to help you figure out which one is which. It is good for a beginner. The price is not bad either so if you decide that crystal healing is not for you, then it’s not that big of a waste of money.
There are many different ways to cleanse your crystals, and for me I prefer a smokeless cleansing mist. My favorite is from BlackCat Magick ( https://blackcatmagick.com/collections/cleansing/products/smokeless-cleansing-mist ). It is water based so you don’t want to use it on any crystals that get damaged by water, but it is a good mist to have when cleansing. The customer service is great and everything ships pretty fast.
These are the items that I started with on my journey, and could not recommend them enough. I am still learning and growing with my crystal healing and want to learn as much as I can. Any suggestions for any other helpful tools would be greatly appreciated.
